MEET THE DESIGNER

Hey there, friend! I'm Sasha.

After honing my craft at high-end flower shops and freelancing for renowned luxury floral designers on weddings and events, I founded Carmel Gardens in my kitchen with a vision: to create intimate and captivating floral experiences featuring the finest blooms sourced from our world-class local flower farms.

Since then, we’ve grown and in 2023, we moved to our current studio in a charming, historic building in the heart of Carmel Valley. While the scope of our events has expanded, our dedication to floral artistry, obsession with the details and kind, personalized service remain at the heart of who we are.

When I'm not in the studio, I love road tripping with my twin daughters and exploring this amazing place we get to call home. Don't miss my list of favorite local spots below!

My Local Favorites

01

Brunch at Stationaery

Absolutely everything is delicious and the details are so thoughtful, even a coffee-to-go is a special experience. Bring your canine bestie for a treat off the dog menu – it's an actual thing.

02

Home Decor at Tancredi & Morgen

This beloved family-owned shop has been around almost 40 years and continues to delight with their wonderous selection of vintage and hand crafted home decor, gifts and clothing.

03

Walks on Ribera Beach

Away from the Carmel Beach crowd, Ribera has a walking path that meanders through coastal wildflowers with stunning vistas of Pebble Beach and Point Lobos.

04

Happy Hour at Chez Noir

Skip the prix fixe menu at this Michelin-starred hotspot by showing up early and grabbing a seat at the bar or patio fire pit for abalone skewers and the best cocktail you've ever had.

05

Gifting at Somewhere

My go-to for the special and unexpected gift, their collection of cards, home accessories, clothing and more is perfectly curated and so very Carmel.

06

Coffee & at Alta Bakery

Enjoy great coffee and the prettiest pastries ever while taking in the lovely gardens of the historic Cooper-Molera Adobe and Barns.

The Fire Pits at Spanish Bay

The Inn at Spanish Bay is a favorite spot to meet friends for a casual outdoor lunch and walk along beach. We always manage stay long enough to hear the iconic bagpiper who plays at dusk.

08

Pizza at La Bicyclette

This charming restaurant in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea has a perfectly simple European-style menu and vibe. Our family favorite is the wood-fired pizza, of course.

Yoga at The Village Big Sur

I couldn't be happier this special Big Sur landmark has reopened with a yoga studio, market, coffee bar and fantastic restaurant, Solistice. It's a heavenly place to spend an afternoon.
